THE FABULOUS COUSIN OF THE GARDEN-VARIETY POT
Shrub Club is a series of plant pots that seek to combine two shapes to create a plant pot that emphasises the beauty of simple geometric elegance. Its shape is different enough from that of a typical pot to justify its creation.
The plant itself would sprout out from the intersection of the two triangular shapes, with the soil being placed in the sitting triangle. The two halves would be two different, solid colors.
The material the pot would be created out of would be biodegradable paper- the same material that paper egg cartons and/ or currently existing biodegradable pots are made out of, with similar manufacturing processes. Chip board and/ or bristol board would work as suitable alternative materials.
To scale for different sizes and different quantities of plants, the size of the container would simply become larger and smaller. As of now, there are four sizes in mind- extra small, small, medium, and large size containers.
The inside of the standing triangle could potentially be used for plant information or advertising space, or simply as a location for the company’s logo or insignia.
